1050A Aluminium Plates
An unalloyed ('pure') non-heat treatable rolled aluminium sheet engineered for general sheet metal work in which excessive mechanical residences are not required.
Internationally acknowledged grade EN AW 1050A H14 – 99.50% pure aluminium (AL 99.5) sheet pressure hardened to the half-hard temper. The preceding BS specification turned into called S1B and the half of-hard temper was called H4, giving S1B H4. Champak Industries range of 1050A will meet all suitable countrywide/global standards.
Machining
Pure aluminium has most effective honest machinability due to the softness of the alloy. The half-hard temper will increase the hardness over the annealed/gentle base alloy but could not be defined as free chipping as compared to the harder, alloyed aluminium's.
We recommend aluminium geometry slicing equipment walking at an inexpensive speed to keep away from the threshold construct-up which could arise at lower reducing speeds. Excessive pace steel equipment may be greater within your means than carbide, specifically with the possibility of a huge rake attitude on machines which cannot attain carbide reducing speeds.
